If “failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor” (Truman Capote), how spicy do you like your success stories?
Thing is…I only see something as failure if you simply don’t even try. And the amount of effort is irrelevant provided that you gave it your best effort and you know that you did.
Each experience builds a foundation in which to reach the next level…but you will never get there without taking all the necessary steps, and sometimes that means that the foundation isn’t exactly as strong as you want it to be…but you haven’t failed.
Try Try Try…and do your best. You’ll never be a failure if at the end of the day you can say that you gave it all you know you had to give and that you didn’t take a shortcut to compromise your foundation.
