Right to Brag

Tell us about something you (or a person close to you) have done recently (or not so recently) that has made you really, unabashedly proud.

I’m not one to like to brag. For one, it’s just impolite. What makes what I do better than anything anyone else does? So I have a few talents, but so do others. Doesn’t mean I should brag about them.

I have no children or grandchildren, so bragging on that front won’t happen (and yes…I’m ok with it).

I won’t brag about any materials items, because in a flash, they can all be taken away. Pretty silly to brag on something you no longer have, right?

As for accomplishments, well, there are a few, but I’m not sure they deserve bragging either. So I set out to do a few things and managed to see them from beginning to end. Isn’t that always our goal? Don’t see the point in really bragging there either.

I don’t really want to be known as a bragger. Sure, I like to share things I’ve done and goals I’ve accomplished, but to rub it in the face of others, well, that just isn’t me…or so I would like to think that isn’t me.

(hmmm…did I just brag about being a non-bragger?)
